Business Development Manager – Cyber Security Services
Home-based | UK travel | Cyber Security Sales
We’re looking for a Business Development Manager with experience selling cyber security services to help drive new business across both the private and public sectors.
This is a home-based role with occasional travel to client sites and company HQ. You’ll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers and generating revenue across services including penetration testing, incident response and compliance consultancy.
What you’ll be doing
- Generate new business through outbound calls, email, LinkedIn and other prospecting activity
- Identify and engage key decision-makers within target organisations
- Build and develop relationships with senior and C-level stakeholders
- Work closely with sales and marketing to develop targeted campaigns
- Prepare and deliver pitches, proposals and presentations
- Manage leads and activity accurately through the CRM
- Keep up to date with cyber security market trends and customer challenges
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

What we’re looking for
- 2+ years’ experience in cyber security sales/business development
- Proven track record of generating significant revenue from security services
- Experience selling services such as penetration testing, incident response and/or compliance consultancy
- Strong new business and outbound prospecting experience
- Confidence engaging senior and C-level stakeholders
- Tenacious, target-driven and comfortable working in a new-business environment
- Experience with CRM and lead-generation tools
- Strong communication, organisation and relationship-building skills
- A strong understanding of cyber security services and the wider security market is essential.

Additional requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ UK residency
- Must be able to successfully complete the required security vetting process
