About Transferra

Transferra is a UK-regulated Electronic Money Institution (EMI) developing next-generation financial products for global businesses. Our mission is to provide entrepreneurs with a seamless platform to manage multi-currency accounts, local and cross-border payments, and corporate cards. We are a modern, fast-growing FinTech with high ambitions—we trust our people, give them decision-making power, and foster a collaborative environment where you can learn and share your expertise.

Role Description

We are looking for a passionate Business Development Manager to drive our commercial expansion. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, pitching, and converting prospective business clients into active users of Transferra’s accounts and e-wallet solutions. You will act as a knowledgeable partner to our clients, bridging the gap between sales execution, product positioning, and AML onboarding requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead Generation & Acquisition: Research, target, and convert high-value corporate leads seeking multi-currency current accounts, bank accounts, and e-wallet solutions.
  • Client Onboarding Alignment: Guide prospects through the initial AML onboarding process, setting proper expectations and collecting foundational documentation to ensure a swift time-to-market.
  • Market Intelligence: Constantly monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory developments across the global payment and card processing landscape.
  • Relationship Management: Build long-term partnerships by understanding client operational needs and matching them with Transferra’s product ecosystem.
  • Offline Representation: Represent Transferra at global FinTech conferences, offline business events, and industry expos to network and generate warm leads.
  • Product Advocacy: Become a subject-matter expert in business payments and relay client feedback to our internal product and compliance teams to help refine our services.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
