The Role
The Business Development Manager will work in partnership with the commercial and clinical team to win new business and identify growth opportunities with existing customers. You'll be driving the company strategy and generating better clinical outcomes and operational efficiencies, selling medical capital equipment and mobility products such as specialist beds, traction frames, mattresses, pressure ulcer prevention and pressure area care. The role is field based, with around four days per week spent face to face with customers, primarily targeting acute care hospitals across the South Thames territory. You'll work with Clinical Specialists who are responsible for pre- and post-sales activity, including evaluations, assessments, training and education. Your KPIs will be focused on sales performance, winning new business from competitors and growing existing accounts, with KOL engagement also playing an important part of the role as you identify customer needs and provide the right solutions.

- Sport Science / Sports Science background is essential.
- Commercial B2B sales experience is essential, with a genuine desire to move into healthcare or medical sales.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, movement and body dynamics.
- Previous experience selling into the NHS is advantageous, but not essential.
- Ambitious to grow with and stay within a company.
- Growth mindset - new business sales professional happy to knock on doors and win competitor business!
- A genuine team player who enjoys working collaboratively while being confident working autonomously.
- You must have a full driving licence, be happy to travel 4 days per week and be confident driving a transporter van on occasion.

The Package for Business Development Manager
- Basic: £45,000-£50,000 DOE
- Bonus: £21,000
- Car: Fully expensed company car and fuel card
