Help us grow the places where unforgettable holidays begin
At Awaze, what we do is simple – we send people on holiday. And who doesn’t love that? Behind every perfect getaway is a fantastic holiday home and a trusted homeowner. That’s where you come in. As part of our UK growth team, you’ll play a key role in finding and onboarding the next homeowners to join the Awaze family and help us continue building the UK’s most inspiring holiday home portfolio.
Your mission
As our new Business Development Manager - Dartmouth, your mission is to drive the growth of our UK holiday home portfolio by identifying, engaging, and onboarding high-quality properties in line with our ambitious growth targets. Acting as a passionate ambassador for Awaze and cottages.com, you’ll build strong, lasting relationships with homeowners and partners, helping to expand our presence and deliver outstanding commercial results.
Due to the nature of the role, you must be based in or around Dartmouth and hold a full, clean driving licence, as regular travel to properties across the region is required.
What you'll be doing
- Own and deliver regional property acquisition targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Identify, approach, and sign new homeowners – from individual property owners to corporate and investment partners
- Arrange and conduct property visits, presenting the Awaze value proposition and portfolio of brands
- Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with homeowners and third-party partners
- Act as a brand ambassador for Awaze within the UK holiday and leisure sector, attending industry events and monitoring market trends
- Use data and analytical tools to identify growth opportunities and optimise your regional acquisition strategy
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new properties
Who we’re looking for
You’ll thrive in this role if you’re commercially driven, target-focused, and passionate about travel – particularly UK holidays. You’re someone who builds trust naturally, spots opportunities where others don’t, and is always looking for the next hidden gem.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
