Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for business development and building strong customer relationships?

Then you might be the person we are looking for! Take on the role as Business Development Manager and report to our Regional Sales Manager.

The role as Business Development Manager

As our Business Development Manager, your mission will be to develop, maximise and maintain sales of Lindab's ventilation product range across your allocated region. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing existing customer relationships, and achieving agreed sales targets while acting as a key link between Lindab and its customers.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Developing, maximising and maintaining sales of Lindab Ventilation products within your allocated region
  • Achieving agreed sales targets and identifying opportunities to grow market share
  • Proactively developing new business while maintaining and strengthening existing customer relationships
  • Preparing quotations, bills of quantities and providing technical product information to customers
  • Using Vecta to manage opportunities, customer interactions, call planning and reporting activities
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and ensuring data is regularly updated
  • Monitoring customer activity, competitor behaviour and market developments within your region
  • Gathering market intelligence and customer feedback to support future product development
  • Preparing and delivering presentations at sales meetings when required
  • Attending sales meetings, training courses, presentations, seminars and factory visits as necessary
  • Building strong relationships with customers and colleagues whilst maintaining a professional approach at all times

Who you are

You have experience in field-based sales, business development, account management or specification sales, ideally within the ventilation, HVAC, construction or building services sector. You are commercially aware, customer-focused and motivated by achieving results. As a person, you are a strong communicator and relationship builder who enjoys working independently and managing a regional territory. You have excellent organisational skills, a proactive approach to identifying opportunities, and the drive and determination to succeed in a competitive market. You are confident engaging with customers at all levels and are committed to delivering excellent service while supporting the wider business objectives. Finally, it is important for us that you share our values: Customer Success, Down to Earth, and Neatness and Order.

What you bring

  • Proven experience in sales, business development or account management.
  • Experience within ventilation, HVAC, construction or building services would be advantageous.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify and convert sales opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • Good organisational and territory management skills.
  • CRM and IT proficiency, ideally with experience of using Vecta or similar systems.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach with a drive to achieve targets.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and product learning.
