Role Description

This full-time Business Development Manager role is based in Bolton and follows a hybrid work model, combining on-site collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility. The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and approaching prospective small business clients, building and maintaining strong relationships, and presenting advertising and marketing solutions that align with client needs.

The role also involves monitoring client campaigns, gathering feedback, and working with internal teams to refine offerings and ensure customer satisfaction. The Business Development Manager is expected to track performance metrics, stay informed about local market trends, and consistently contribute to revenue growth.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills in business development, sales, and client relationship management, with a focus on small business customers.
  • Experience in advertising, marketing, or related services, including the ability to understand and convey marketing solutions in clear, practical terms.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, with confidence in both face-to-face and virtual meetings.
  • Solid organizational and time-management skills, including pipeline tracking, follow-up discipline, and use of CRM or sales tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, managing on-site meetings in Bolton and remote tasks effectively.
  • Comfort with basic digital tools and online platforms used for marketing and client communication.
  • Prior experience in local or regional business communities is beneficial; knowledge of the Northwest market is an advantage.
  • Relevant education or training in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience in a similar role.
