Business Development Manager - Europe
Data Centre Fibre Connectivity Solutions - UK/DACH/Nordics
Up to £/€120,000 basic + bonus
Remote
Are you a commercially driven business development professional with experience in fibre connectivity, data centre infrastructure, structured cabling, telecoms or network solutions?
This is a rare opportunity to join a global cable manufacturer at an exciting stage of growth and help establish its position within the rapidly expanding European data centre market.
Our client is looking for an entrepreneurial sales professional to lead the development of its data centre fibre cabling business across Europe. This is not a commodity cable sales role. The focus is on developing strategic relationships with data centre operators, contractors, installers, system integrators and channel partners while introducing a portfolio of high-performance fibre optic solutions.
With significant European manufacturing capability, strong supply chain infrastructure and the ability to support large-scale projects, the business is investing heavily in growing its presence within the data centre sector.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
