Role Description
The chance to join an amazing team
The Business Development Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in the United Kingdom, with a mix of on-site client visits and office or home-based work. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with fleet and commercial customers, and expanding Vaculug’s presence in target markets. Day-to-day activities include prospecting, conducting client meetings, preparing proposals, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored tyre and fleet management solutions. The Business Development Manager will monitor market trends, analyze sales performance, and provide regular reports and forecasts to support strategic planning and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or account management within automotive, commercial vehicles, fleet management, or related industries.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers at multiple levels.
- Proficiency in pipeline management, CRM tools, and basic data analysis to track opportunities, performance, and customer activity.
- Solid communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical and commercial information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Understanding of fleet operations, tyre products, or industrial services is highly beneficial; experience in sustainable or B Corp-focused businesses is an advantage.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a hybrid setup, balancing travel, in-person meetings, and remote work.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to customer sites across the United Kingdom.
- Relevant education in business, sales, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
