Role Overview
Business Development Manager | Edinburgh, UK | Field-based / Remote | Competitive Salary + Commission
As a Business Development Manager in our UK Field Sales Team, you’ll play a key role in driving Fresha’s expansion across the Edinburgh region. Reporting directly to the Business Development Team Lead, you will be 100% focused on identifying, prospecting, and bringing on new business partners to accelerate our commercial growth.
From cold outreach and product demos to negotiating and closing deals, you’ll serve as the face of Fresha to potential partners, helping local salon owners and wellness professionals transform their operations with our all-in-one platform.

What You'll Do
- Sales Performance: Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets, taking ownership of your pipeline and commercial performance.
- New Business Development: Identify and engage prospective Partners through outbound calling, email, social channels and, where appropriate, in-person meetings.
- Prospecting & Outreach: Build and manage a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities, engaging key decision-makers and converting prospects into qualified opportunities.
- Full Sales Cycle: Own the sales process from initial prospecting through to product demonstration, negotiation and close.
- Product Selling: Present, promote and sell Fresha’s products and services through compelling, tailored product demonstrations.
- Consultative Selling: Conduct needs and cost-benefit analysis with prospective Partners to understand their businesses and align Fresha’s solutions to their objectives.
- Inbound Lead Management: Respond to 100% of qualified inbound leads in a timely manner, progressing opportunities effectively and maintaining accurate records in the CRM.
- Partner Experience: Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition and seamless experience for new Partners throughout the sales journey.
- Market Insight: Stay close to industry trends and provide feedback and insights that can help shape Fresha’s commercial strategy and approach.
- Commercial Partnership: Act as a key commercial point of contact for prospective Partners, building trust and demonstrating the value of Fresha’s platform.

What We're Looking For
- Sales Experience: Minimum 1+ years of solid B2B sales experience with a proven track record of consistently hitting or exceeding targets.
- Industry Exposure: Background selling SaaS, online marketplaces, payment platforms, or fintech solutions is highly desirable.
- Hunter Mindset: A true hunter and relationship builder who enjoys prospecting, cold outreach, and closing new business.
- Organisation & Autonomy: Highly organised with strong time management skills; able to multitask, prioritise, and work independently in the field.
- Curiosity & Passion: Naturally curious, eager to learn continuously, and passionate about tech and partner success.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English; additional language skills are a strong plus.
- Beauty & Wellness Interest: Prior experience in or a strong passion for the beauty, wellness, and self-care industry.
