Business Development Manager – Education & Accessibility

Warwick | Hybrid: Thursday + one other office day per week

£45,000 base + up to £15,000 commission (£60,000 total OTE)

Can you win new business, build relationships with decision-makers and turn customer needs into commercially successful solutions?

We’re partnering with Widgit, a purpose-driven software company and Certified B Corp, to recruit a Business Development Manager. Widgit helps people understand information and communicate through symbols, making education, services and everyday environments more accessible.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you’ll drive new business across three key areas:

  • Multi-Entity Accounts: win group-wide agreements with Multi-Academy Trusts, local authorities and other multi-site education organisations.
  • Symbol Friendly Organisations: build relationships with businesses and public services looking to improve accessibility through symbol-supported communication, including leisure centres, gyms, zoos and other visitor attractions.
  • Signage and projects: develop opportunities for accessible door signs, communication boards, playground signage and other practical communication materials.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
