Business Development Manager - Engineered Solutions
Based: UK
Area Covered: UK
Package: £55,000 - £65,000, Uncapped and Very Strong Bonus, Company Car or Car Allowance, Pension, Life Insurance
Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit a Business Development Manager - Engineered Solutions including Blast Resistant Buildings, Offshore Containers, Equipment Housing, Enclosures, and Data Centers.
About the Opportunity
As they continue to grow at a rapid rate, they are looking for a very driven sales professional to join the team and they are offering a long-term opportunity for the right candidate, with a strong package and good development prospects to work across the UK.
Responsibilities
- Proven Business Development or Sales expertise in Engineered Solutions including Blast Resistant Buildings, Offshore Containers, Equipment Housing, Enclosures, and Data Centers.
- Alternatively, experience in Modular Buildings, other Forms of Off-Site Construction such as Timber Frame Buildings, Steel Framed Buildings, or Bathroom Pods.
- Candidates from a Main Contracting / Traditional Build background will also be considered.
- Experience of working in sectors such as Petrochemical, Nuclear, and High-Risk Environments, Oil and Gas, Oil Rigs, Oil Refineries, Hydrogen Plants, and Utilities is beneficial.

Key Accountabilities
- Work on projects ranging between £100,000 and £10,000,000.
- Measured on the client relationships you develop and build along with how you fit into the organization overall.
- Ultimately judged on the pipeline you build and the business you secure.
- Potential for rapid opportunities for career progression into more senior management positions in the company.
Ideal Candidate
- Proven track record of working in Business Development or Sales in Engineered Solutions, Modular Buildings, other Forms of Off-Site Construction, or Main Contracting / Traditional Build.
- Driven, Passionate, Positive, Self-Sufficient, and Hard Working.
- Flexible, with Gravitas and driven to succeed.
