Would you like to join one of the fastest-growing, multi-national Internet of Things (IoT) companies in the world?

Good, because we're building something big.

We're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Enterprise Sales Team and drive new business growth across the Distributed Enterprise market in the UK & Ireland.

Teltonika Overview

Teltonika is a global leader in Internet of Things (IoT), with over 25 years of innovation, operations in more than 27 countries, and over 2,500 employees worldwide.

Teltonika's Networks business unit develops and manufactures industrial and enterprise networking equipment, including routers, gateways, switches, modems, and remote management solutions. Our products enable secure, reliable connectivity across a wide range of industries and applications.

Following the launch of our UK operation in 2024, we're continuing to invest heavily across our IoT portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to build new business and develop Teltonika's presence across four key verticals:

  • Transport, Logistics & Fleet
  • Retail & Consumer Goods
  • Financial & Professional Services
  • Hospitality & Leisure

Role Overview

Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Sales, you'll identify new opportunities, develop relationships with senior stakeholders, and build a strong pipeline of enterprise customers across these markets.

Location: Salford, Greater Manchester, UK Head Office, Suite 2.1, Building 8, Exchange Quay, M5 3EJ.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Take ownership of the Distributed Enterprise market across the UK & Ireland, developing new business opportunities across Transport, Logistics & Fleet, Retail & Consumer Goods, Financial & Professional Services, and Hospitality & Leisure.
  • Conduct market research to identify target organizations, understand sector-specific challenges, and identify where Teltonika's Networking solutions can create commercial value.
  • Build and manage a targeted pipeline of new enterprise opportunities through proactive outbound activity, networking, industry events, referrals, and relationship development.
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers and influencers across target organizations, building relationships at commercial, operational, and technical levels.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the connectivity challenges faced by organizations operating across multiple locations, sites, assets, or distributed environments.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Teltonika's product portfolio, key features, and competitive advantages to strengthen commercial positioning.
  • Build and nurture relationships with prospective customers using a consultative sales approach focused on understanding customer needs and business outcomes.
  • Represent Teltonika Networks at customer meetings, exhibitions, conferences, and networking events across the UK & Ireland.
  • Prepare tailored commercial proposals and oversee opportunities through the sales process, from initial engagement through to close.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide regular reporting through our internal CRM system.
  • Collaborate with technical support, pre-sales, and R&D to ensure customer requirements are understood and the appropriate solution is developed.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
