KnowledgeBrief is a leadership and business management training provider specialising in apprenticeship delivery, leadership development, business competency training and professional skills development. Through apprenticeships, commercial learning solutions, qualifications, workshops and coaching, we help individuals and organisations build the knowledge, confidence and capability they need to grow and succeed.
Our vision is to inspire the next generation of leaders through high-impact learning experiences that empower great business leadership at every level.
We are a values-driven organisation with a strong focus on innovation, authenticity, inspiration and relationships, creating meaningful impact for our learners, clients, colleagues and partners.
About the Role
As a Business Development Manager within our Enterprise team, you will join a close-knit group of six experienced Business Development Managers.
You will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities with large, levy-paying organisations. This will involve confident, data-led market research and a variety of outreach methods, including telephone calls, email, LinkedIn and marketing-led campaigns.
Enterprise sales cycles can be longer and more complex, so you will need to take a thoughtful and organised approach. You will research target organisations, create tailored outreach campaigns and build relationships with senior stakeholders such as HR Directors, Learning and Development Directors and Chief People Officers.
This is an opportunity to build lasting client partnerships while helping organisations invest in the development of their people and future leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify prospective enterprise and levy-paying clients.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Develop targeted outreach campaigns based on organisational needs and market insight.
- Engage prospective clients through telephone calls, email, LinkedIn and marketing activity.
- Build credible relationships with senior HR, People and Learning and Development stakeholders.
- Understand prospective clients’ workforce development priorities and identify where our apprenticeship programmes can add value.
- Manage opportunities through longer and more complex enterprise sales cycles.
- Maintain accurate records of activity, opportunities and pipeline progress.
- Work collaboratively with the wider Enterprise team and share useful market and client insight.
- Take ownership of individual targets and contribute to the team’s wider growth objectives.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
