Business Development Manager - Digital Marketing Solutions

Location: UK (Remote with occasional travel to head office)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + OTE £65,000+
PE-backed, high-growth international business

This is an opportunity to join a well-established but fast-scaling digital media and marketing business operating within the global life sciences sector. With over 25 years of history, a 500,000+ strong international audience, and recent private equity investment, the company is entering a significant growth phase and expanding its commercial team.

The Role

This is a new business-focused Business Development role, selling consultative digital marketing solutions to international clients.

  • 80% new business / 20% account development
  • Full sales cycle ownership: discovery → solution design → close
  • Typical deal sizes from £25k to £100k+
  • Global client base (c.60% US, 30% Europe)
  • Multi-channel, solution-based sales approach
  • Supported by an internal delivery/CX team
  • This is a highly autonomous role where you'll be trusted to manage your own pipeline and strategy.

The Candidate

We are looking for ambitious, structured sales professionals who can operate in a consultative, value-led environment.

  • 4+ years B2B sales experience (digital marketing, SaaS, media or services preferred)
  • Strong new business track record
  • Formal sales training highly desirable
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment
  • Confident challenging clients and building credibility
  • Process-driven with a consultative approach

The Package

  • £40,000 - £45,000 base salary
  • OTE £65,000+ (uncapped, quarterly paid)
  • Pension, healthcare, 25 days holiday
  • Remote-first with occasional office collaboration
  • Clear progression into senior and leadership roles
