Managing European Road Freight Sales
Client Details
The Business Development Manager - European Road Freight will be working for a growing haulage business operating in the logistics, distribution, and supply chain sector across England and the UK.
Description
- Drive new business acquisition within the European road freight market.
- Expand market share across Groupage, Part Load, and FTL transport solutions.
- Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy, maintaining ownership of a high-value pipeline.
- Secure import and export opportunities with customers across the UK and mainland Europe.
- Establish trusted relationships with key decision-makers to generate long-term revenue growth.
- Manage opportunities from initial engagement through to contract award and ongoing account development.
- Partner with operations teams to ensure the delivery of cost-effective and dependable logistics services.

Profile
- Successful sales background within the European road freight sector.
- In-depth understanding of international freight operations across UK and European markets.
- Experience promoting and selling Groupage, Part Load, and FTL transport solutions.
- Existing customer portfolio and freight industry connections would be a distinct advantage.
- Proven ability to win new business and develop long-term, profitable client relationships.
- Results-driven and proactive, with a strong focus on revenue growth and business development.
