B2B | New Business | Consultative Sales | Full Sales Cycle
We’re working with an established and growing global B2B organisation looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to its expanding commercial team.
This is not an entry-level sales role. We’re looking for a proven new-business salesperson who is comfortable generating their own opportunities, managing a pipeline and, most importantly, closing deals.
The business has 1,000+ employees worldwide and an established, commercially proven proposition. Due to the nature of the company, we’re keeping its identity confidential at this stage.
You’ll be selling a high-value, insight-led B2B service that helps organisations identify and access new commercial opportunities within their target markets.
The Role
As Business Development Manager, you’ll take ownership of the full new-business sales cycle, from initial prospecting and qualification through to presentation, negotiation and close.
The typical sales cycle is relatively short, generally 2–12 weeks, so we’re particularly interested in candidates who have experience working in a fast-paced B2B environment where they are expected to consistently convert opportunities into revenue.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
