About the role:
pewag group is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager, Fishing & Aquaculture to develop our international business in this specialised market.
You will lead our global sales activities for fishing and aquaculture, develop new customers and markets, and shape regional sales strategies. Working closely with technical and operational teams, you will ensure that customer and market requirements are reflected in our products and commercial solutions.
What you will do:
- Lead and strategically develop the global sales team for fishing and aquaculture, including responsibility for the product family’s sales budget
- Identify and develop new customers, markets, and business opportunities through market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and regular international customer visits
- Develop and implement sales and go-to-market strategies tailored to different regions and countries
- Define pricing strategies, prepare business cases and commercial proposals, and negotiate contracts with customers and business partners
- Work closely with technical product management, R&D, engineering, and operations to translate customer needs into solutions, support product innovation, and conduct customer training

What you bring:
- Relevant experience in business development, sales, project management, or product management within fishing, aquaculture, marine, or a related industrial sector
- Strong understanding of marine applications, environmental conditions, and the technical and commercial requirements of customers in fishing and aquaculture
- Proven ability to develop international markets and build relationships with OEMs, system integrators, contractors, and key end customers
- Strong commercial acumen and excellent customer-facing, presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
- A strategic and hands-on approach, willingness to travel internationally, and excellent English; additional languages and a relevant degree or comparable professional experience are an advantage
