Not every ingredients supplier is built the same.
Some ask you to sell a handful of products with little flexibility. Others bury you in internal meetings, endless reporting and layers of approval that slow everything down.
This isn't one of those businesses.
Our client has built an excellent reputation with plenty of UK food and beverage manufacturers by doing something surprisingly simple: being easy to work with. They're responsive, commercially minded and genuinely collaborative, which is why many of their customers see them as a trusted development partner rather than just another supplier.
Despite that reputation, they're still one of the industry's best-kept secrets.
That's where you come in.
You'll be responsible for developing new business while growing existing customer relationships across the UK. With a broad ingredients portfolio covering sweet, savoury, beverage and sports nutrition applications, you'll have plenty of opportunities to solve different customer challenges rather than relying on one product or one market.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who could be a great fit?
The essential requirements are few, but non-negotiable:
- You must already be selling food ingredients into UK food and/or beverage manufacturers
- You'll have a positive, energetic approach and the confidence to deliver engaging presentations to customers
The role
This is a home-based position covering customers across the UK. Your focus should be where it belongs: with customers, not sat in an office. You'll need a full UK driving licence and be comfortable travelling across the country, including occasional overnight stays.
If you're looking for a role where you'll have the autonomy to make decisions, the support to succeed and a genuinely broad ingredients portfolio to take to market, we'd love to tell you more.
“It took my CV and asked me questions relevant to understanding what kind of jobs to suggest for me. Suggestions were almost perfect. Jobs were exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
