Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer – Temporary Power

South East England | Field-Based | Excellent Package + Bonus

Are you an experienced Temporary Power sales professional who knows how to win business, build relationships and develop a territory? A genuine market leader within specialist equipment rental is looking to strengthen its commercial team with the appointment of an experienced Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer across the South East.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected, well-invested business providing critical temporary power solutions to customers across construction, infrastructure, industrial, manufacturing and major projects.

Temporary power experience is essential for this position.

The Territory

We are ideally looking for someone based within the wider South East, with a territory covering areas including Reading, London, Crawley, Cambridge and across towards Ipswich. You’ll be field-based, developing opportunities across both existing and new customers throughout the region.

The Opportunity

This isn't an account management role where you'll simply inherit a patch and maintain what's already there. We need someone who enjoys creating opportunities, opening doors and winning business. You'll identify customer requirements and work alongside operational and technical teams to deliver the right temporary power solution – developing relationships that generate repeat and long-term business. You'll be responsible for:

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
