The organization focuses on better route planning, efficient load coordination, high-performing vehicles, to improve efficiency across the logistics industry.
Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Business Development Manager at MRK Transportation Ltd. The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients, and promote MRK’s sustainable logistics solutions.

Daily Responsibilities

- Managing the sales pipeline
- Preparing and delivering proposals and presentations
- Negotiating contracts and pricing
- Collaborating with operations teams to ensure service offerings align with customer needs
Additional Responsibilities
- Conducting market research
- Tracking industry trends
- Contributing to strategic plans that expand MRK’s presence in eco-friendly logistics
- Reporting on performance metrics
- Forecasting revenue
- Supporting continuous improvement in customer experience and commercial outcomes
Qualifications
- Business Development and Sales Skills: Including lead generation, pipeline management, and contract negotiation.
- Customer Relationship Management Skills: With experience building long-term partnerships and managing key accounts.
- Market Analysis and Strategic Planning Capabilities: Including research, opportunity assessment, and growth planning.
- Strong Communication and Presentation Skills: With the ability to explain complex logistics and sustainability concepts clearly.
- Organizational and Time-Management Skills: Including working independently in a remote environment and handling multiple priorities.
- Understanding of Logistics, Transportation, or Supply Chain Operations: Experience in sustainable or green logistics is an advantage.
- Proficiency with CRM Tools and Standard Business Software: (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation tools, and collaboration platforms).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Comfort Working with Performance Targets and Metrics: With a data-informed approach to decision-making.
