Business Development Manager
London and Surrounding Counties
£65,000 (negotiable) + Commission + Car Allowance
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join a growing specialist in multi-utility connections, supporting developers and contractors across residential and commercial projects.
The business delivers water, electric, gas, drainage, and civils solutions, providing clients with a single point of contact to get their developments connected and moving.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on, relationship-led sales role focused on developing new business and building long-term client relationships.
- You’ll be working closely with developers, housebuilders, contractors, and construction professionals, identifying opportunities, developing relationships, and taking projects from initial conversation through to successful win.
- You’ll be responsible for:
- Developing new business and building a strong pipeline of opportunities
- Building relationships with developers, contractors, and key decision-makers
- Identifying new residential and commercial development opportunities
- Taking opportunities from initial conversation through to quotation and win.
- Working closely with the operational team to ensure a smooth handover and excellent customer experience
- Growing existing client relationships and generating repeat business
- Keeping up to date with local development activity and identifying opportunities early

We’re looking for a commercially driven and naturally personable BDM who enjoys getting out there, opening doors, and turning relationships into business.
- You’ll be confident speaking with decision-makers, comfortable developing your own opportunities, and commercially savvy enough to understand what makes a project stack up.
- Experience within utilities is a must, but above all we’re looking for someone who is hungry to succeed, credible with clients, and capable of building a strong network.
