Role Description
We have 2 new Business Development Manager positions available due to investment – Selling our range of Heat Pumps is a full-time, on-site role based in 2 new regions, South East and Central areas. This position is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for heat pump products, building strong relationships with installers, distributors, and other key partners, and driving sales growth within target markets.

Day-to-day tasks include:
- Prospecting and qualifying leads
- Conducting product presentations and demonstrations
- Negotiating commercial terms
- Managing the sales pipeline
The role also involves:
- Monitoring market trends
- Providing feedback to product and marketing teams
- Collaborating cross-functionally to support campaigns and customer initiatives
The Business Development Manager will be expected to meet revenue and margin targets while promoting Ideal Heating’s sustainable solutions and brand values.
Qualifications
- Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, account management, and negotiation.
- Experience in the heating, HVAC, or renewable energy sector, ideally with a focus on heat pumps or related technologies.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with installers, contractors, distributors, and other stakeholders.
- Sound commercial and analytical skills, including forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting.
- Clear and confident communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proactive, results-oriented approach, with strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
- Comfort working on-site and in the field, including regular customer visits and industry events.
