HIKMICRO is part of the wider Hikvision ecosystem and operates globally. As we continue to expand our presence in the UK and Ireland industrial market, we are looking for talented professionals to join us and contribute to our growth.
The Role
The Business Development Manager – Industrial Market should have large experience in developing the Industrial market by approaching and building solid relationships with both Distributors and End Users.
The key attributes and expectations of a good Business Development Manager are:
- Great business sense and UK market sense
- Massive customer resource regarding the industrial market in UK & Ireland
- Great communication skills
- The knowledge of Flow Meter or Pressure Transmitter or Level Meter is preferred
- A positive attitude
- Great negotiation skills
- Initiative, Honesty, and Integrity

Hikvision therefore requires the Business Development Manager to act as the ambassador of the company and brand, delivering the following key tasks:
- Develop/Manage the Industrial market, and carry out market research, competitor, and customer surveys
- Find potential business opportunities and business growth points
- Approaching and establishing new, solid, and long-term relationships with distributors and end users
- Presentation of the solution to potential customers
- Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events
- Work closely with colleagues in the regional sales team
- Perform lobbying in associations and interest groups
- Assist consultants to specify projects
- Position HIKMICRO as the preferred product for consultants
- Prepare reports required by the management

Your Profile
- Experience in the industrial market
- Proven negotiation skills on a corporate level
- Being open-minded to working in a multi-cultural company
- Being self-driven and ambitious to be part of a winning culture
- The knowledge of Flow Meter or Pressure Transmitter or Level Meter is preferred
- Solid in Outlook and related products
