South East | 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract | £45,000 + Future Commission Opportunity

Build Relationships. Create Opportunities. Make an Impact.

Carnegie Group is creating a new Business Development Manager role to help drive our next stage of growth across the South East.

This is a hands-on role focused on identifying opportunities, building relationships and opening doors with developers, architects, consultants and clients. We're not looking for a hard salesperson, but someone who is proactive, commercially aware and enjoys connecting with people.

Working closely with our Co-Founders and wider team, you'll help develop new business opportunities, strengthen our network and grow our pipeline. As this is a new role, you'll have the opportunity to shape your own approach and make a visible impact on the business.

The Role

You will identify and engage prospective clients through:

  • Cold calling
  • LinkedIn outreach
  • Email campaigns
  • Networking and industry events
  • Referrals and introductions
  • Re-engaging previous customers
  • Developing existing pipeline opportunities

Your focus will be on building long-term relationships and generating opportunities that align with Carnegie's expertise and growth ambitions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
