About the Role
We are partnering with a rapidly growing global e-commerce and marketplace business seeking a Business Development Manager to drive the acquisition and growth of leading Sports and Beauty brands across the UK market.
This is an opportunity to join a high-growth international organisation and play a key role in expanding relationships with brands, retailers and distributors within key consumer categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategy to identify and acquire new Sports and Beauty brand partners.
- Build and maintain relationships with brands, retailers and distributors across the UK market.
- Manage the full business development lifecycle from prospecting through to commercial negotiation and onboarding.
- Identify market trends, competitive activity and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful launch and ongoing partner performance.
- Support the delivery of commercial objectives through pricing, promotional planning and partner growth initiatives.
- Track and report on key performance metrics and commercial outcomes.

Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in business development, partnerships, marketplace acquisition or commercial account management.
- Strong track record of winning and growing commercial partnerships.
- Experience within e-commerce, retail, marketplace or consumer goods environments.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of the UK retail and consumer landscape.

Desirable Experience
- Experience working with Sports, Sportswear, Athleisure, Beauty or Consumer Goods brands.
- Exposure to online marketplaces, digital retail platforms or e-commerce businesses.
- Existing network within Sports and/or Beauty categories.
- Experience working within an international and fast-paced environment.
- Additional language skills are advantageous.
