About My Client
My client is a market-leading provider of data, insights, and software solutions that help businesses across the construction and professional services sectors make smarter decisions, win more work, and operate more efficiently.

The Opportunity
Are you a driven sales professional who thrives on winning new business and closing deals?
I'm looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to join a successful, high-performing sales team in a pure new business role, responsible for identifying, engaging, and winning new clients across the UK.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the full sales cycle within a structured corporate environment, selling market-leading solutions into the professional services sector.
Unlike traditional field sales positions, this is a hybrid office-based role, where all meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations are delivered remotely via Microsoft Teams. This allows you to focus your time on what you do best: building pipeline, developing opportunities, and securing new business, without the need for extensive travel.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
