For our Heathrow team, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to grow and develop our customer base across the UK, with a strong focus on air freight.
What you will do:
- Generate, develop and manage new business opportunities across the UK, with a primary focus on air freight and additional opportunities across ocean freight.
- Build strong relationships with customers, prospects and internal stakeholders, while working closely with UK Sales, branch management and operational teams to deliver effective customer solutions.
- Manage the full sales process from identifying new business opportunities and arranging meetings through to rate negotiation, solution development, onboarding support and achieving agreed sales targets.

What you bring:
- Proven freight forwarding sales experience, ideally with strong air freight knowledge and a good understanding of ocean freight. Wider multimodal or product background would be advantageous.
- A self-motivated, commercially focused and results-driven approach, with the confidence to work independently and the experience to hit the ground running.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to influence customers and collaborate effectively with colleagues across Heathrow and Birmingham.
- Good commercial awareness, including an understanding of freight forwarding margins, service quality, operational requirements and the importance of securing profitable business.
