Business Development Manager
We are currently supporting a fast-growing renewable energy business that develops and finances behind-the-meter solar projects for commercial and industrial customers across the UK.
The business is now looking for a Business Development Manager to build and develop the partner network responsible for delivering its growing solar portfolio. You will work across commercial strategy, partnerships and project delivery, ensuring the business has the right relationships and delivery capacity to support its continued growth, focused on working with TPI's and EPC's.

The role will involve:
- Identifying, onboarding and developing high-quality EPC & TPI partners
- Building long-term, mutually valuable partner relationships
- Creating a scalable EPC & TPI partnership strategy
- Assessing partner capabilities, geographical coverage and delivery capacity
- Clearly communicating commercial models and project requirements
- Working closely with commercial, technical and delivery teams
- Monitoring partner performance and improving processes across the network
We would particularly like to speak with people who have:
- Experience within I&C solar
- Strong knowledge of the UK EPC and solar delivery landscape
- A track record of managing and growing external partnerships
- An understanding of different solar funding and ownership models
- The ability to balance relationship management with commercial and delivery requirements
- An entrepreneurial mindset and the confidence to build structure within a growing business
