Business Development Manager - ICP / HV / Electrical Infrastructure - EV Charging / BESS / Renewables - UK

Location: UK – National / HQ in North East

Salary: Competitive Salary + Car Allowance + Bonus

Sector: ICP | HV | EV Charging | BESS | Renewables | Electrical Infrastructure

The Company

EVEREC is working with an established UK infrastructure contractor delivering electrical and civil engineering projects across the energy and infrastructure sectors.

The business provides a range of services across ICP, HV electrical infrastructure, grid connections and associated civil works, supporting projects from initial design and connection through to construction, installation, commissioning and energisation.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to identify, develop and secure new project opportunities across the UK.

The Role

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new business and developing relationships with organisations delivering projects requiring new or upgraded electrical infrastructure.

The successful candidate will focus on identifying projects at an early stage, building relationships with key decision-makers and positioning the business to secure the ICP, HV electrical and associated civil infrastructure works.

Opportunities could span EV charging, battery energy storage, renewable energy, commercial and industrial developments and wider infrastructure projects.

This is a new business-focused position and would suit someone with an established network across the energy, electrical infrastructure or development markets.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
