Business Development Manager

B2B Partnerships | Corporate Sales | Professional Services

We are working with a growing organisation looking to appoint a Business Development Manager / Lead to support the next stage of its commercial growth.

This is a hands-on new business role for a proactive, commercially sharp salesperson who knows how to open doors, build pipeline and convert conversations into revenue.

We are looking for someone with experience selling professional services into businesses and corporates, ideally across areas such as staff augmentation, ESG, ED&I, learning and development, talent, leadership, workforce transformation, recruitment, consulting or advisory services.

This role will suit someone who enjoys hunting for new business, understands how corporate buyers make decisions, and can engage confidently with senior stakeholders across HR, Talent, People, ED&I, ESG, CSR, L&D and leadership teams.

We’re looking for someone with the hunter instinct to win work and the mission-led mindset to care why it matters: commercially driven, growth-focused and motivated by the opportunity to contribute to wider social impact. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing relationships with prospective clients and partners, and progressing conversations from initial interest through to proposal and close.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
