I’m partnering with a fast-growing global healthcare education business looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to develop new relationships and commercial opportunities across Europe.
This is a new-business-focused role for someone who understands the IME/CME landscape, has established relationships within Medical Affairs and can demonstrate a strong track record of personally winning new business.
The role
Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll:
- Build and develop senior Medical Affairs relationships across pharmaceutical companies
- Identify, originate and convert new educational opportunities
- Grow new supporter relationships across Europe
- Work with internal teams to develop proposals for new educational opportunities
- Attend medical congresses, scientific meetings and industry events
- Build a strong pipeline of new business and contribute directly to commercial growth

About you
I’d particularly like to hear from people with:
- Strong IME/CME or medical education experience
- An established network within pharmaceutical Medical Affairs
- A demonstrable track record of personally originating and winning new business
- Experience developing senior relationships with pharmaceutical clients
- A proactive, commercially driven approach to opening new accounts
- Strong consultative and relationship-building skills

Alongside the basic salary, the role offers uncapped commission from Dollar One.
A note on salary: If your salary expectations sit slightly outside the advertised range, please don’t let that stop you from applying. If you have strong IME/CME experience and an established Medical Affairs network, I’d still really like to hear from you. I’m happy to discuss individual expectations, as well as the uncapped commission structure, as part of an initial conversation.
