Job Summary
We are seeking a driven and commercially focused National Sales Manager to lead business development and sales growth across the industrial and construction infrastructure sector. The role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and developing long-term client relationships within industries such as construction, industrial services and exhibitions, temporary infrastructure, and related sectors.
The successful candidate will combine strong sales ability with technical understanding, delivering tailored infrastructure solutions including temporary structures, mobile lighting, barriers, fencing, flooring, access systems, and associated event or industrial support services.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across industrial, construction, and infrastructure markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, procurement teams, and project managers.
- Prepare and present tailored proposals, quotations, and tender submissions.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to contract completion.
- Conduct site visits, client meetings, and industry networking across the UK.
- Collaborate with operations and project delivery teams to ensure successful execution of client requirements.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasting and CRM records.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Support strategic partnerships and framework agreements.

Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in B2B sales within the events, industrial infrastructure, construction, temporary works, or related sectors.
- Strong track record of achieving sales targets and business growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build relationships at all levels from operational teams to senior decision-makers.
- Commercial awareness with strong problem-solving capability.
- Experience preparing quotations, tenders, and commercial proposals.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.

Desirable Experience
- Knowledge of temporary infrastructure or industrial site solutions.
- Existing industry contacts within utilities, construction, logistics, or infrastructure sectors.
- Experience using CRM and sales reporting systems.
- Technical understanding of temporary structures, barriers, fencing, staging, power, flooring, or access equipment.
