About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across the UK for a global technology products and solutions organisation.
This is a true new business sales role for someone who enjoys identifying new opportunities, opening doors with senior decision-makers, building strong client relationships and taking opportunities through to successful close.
You’ll be selling IT solutions, services and technology products, with a particular focus on Data and AI solutions, services and products.
The role is fully remote from the UK, with a salary of £55,000–£65,000, and an ASAP start is available.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target and engage new clients across the UK.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline.
- Generate new opportunities through LinkedIn, networking, referrals, events and direct outreach.
- Develop relationships with senior technology and business stakeholders.
- Understand client challenges and identify appropriate technology solutions.
- Work closely with internal technical and delivery teams to develop proposals and solutions.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to closure.
- Build long-term relationships with key clients.
- Consistently achieve agreed sales and revenue targets.
Requirements
We’re looking for someone with:
- 7–9 years’ experience in IT products, technology solutions or IT services sales.
- A strong track record of new business development and winning new clients.
- Proven experience selling IT solutions, services and/or technology products.
- Experience selling Data and AI solutions, services or products.
- A proven sales track record within at least two of the following sectors: Retail, Logistics & Supply Chain, Healthcare, Financial Services, Spectator Sports.
- Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Confidence engaging with senior decision-makers.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to work independently.
- A genuine hunter mentality, with the drive to create and convert new business opportunities.
