Business Development Manager
Location: Fully remote with travel to prospect and client sites as needed
Salary: Up to £110,000 per annum plus benefits including fair and lucrative commission plans
Role Overview

The business are a highly acquisitive, fast growth brand who are looking to widen their product range and client base across the UK. The role is NOT AN IVORY TOWER LEADERSHIP ROLE, instead, this is a high impact, high reward, hands on position. The business operate within the engineering, fabrication, steel and metal works sectors providing solutions into leading OEM’s within rail, transportation, aviation, renewable energy, oil and gas and more! With the growth projections that the business have in order right now, there is a clear career path in place, making this an opportunity you don’t want to miss.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute robust business development and sales strategies
- Build strategic relationships through direct prospect and client visits
- Oversee full cycle sales operations from pipeline creation to contract agreement
- Develop business relationships with current, previous and future clients to promote a widening product and service range.
- Business prospecting and visiting client sites
- Identify market opportunities to secure sustainable revenue growth
- Align commercial targets with internal delivery capabilities

Requirements
- Sound, proven working knowledge leading business development and sales strategies within an engineering, manufacturing, fabrication or steel (or similar) focused organisation
- Readiness to undertake frequent travel across target regions to visit prospects and clients
- Solid commercial acumen and negotiation skills with proven experience of driving revenue and growth
