Business Development Manager (MSP) | £85,000 + OTE | London (on-site)

A fast-growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across the SMB and Commercial market.

This is a true hunter role, focused on generating and closing new business across managed IT, cloud, infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity solutions. You’ll own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through to negotiation and close, working alongside pre-sales and technical teams.

Responsibilities

  • Proven new business sales experience within an MSP / Managed Services environment
  • Strong track record of winning and closing new business
  • Experience selling into enterprise businesses
  • Strong understanding of managed services and recurring-revenue models
  • Consultative sales approach with excellent negotiation skills
  • Confident engaging with C-suite and senior decision-makers
  • Experience across cloud, infrastructure, networking, and/or cybersecurity

Skills

  • Proven new business sales experience within an MSP / Managed Services / IT Services environment, with a strong track record of winning new logo business
  • Experience selling managed IT, cloud, infrastructure, networking, and/or cybersecurity solutions into SMB and Commercial organisations
  • Strong full sales-cycle experience, from prospecting and pipeline generation through to negotiation and close, with excellent commercial and consultative selling skills
  • Confident engaging C-suite and senior decision-makers, with strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing abilities
