About the role

Join Aspire from our Glasgow office and be at the forefront of IT and Cybersecurity solutions in Scotland. We’re looking for proactive sales professionals who don’t wait for opportunities — you create them. From the first "hello" to the final handshake, you’ll own the full sales cycle and represent a market-leading brand that’s shaping the future of technology across the region.

We are a Microsoft Solutions Partner and partner with tier-one vendors (CrowdStrike, Extreme, Cisco and Veeam) to allow us to deliver best-in-class solutions.

What you will be doing

  • Build your territory: Utilising a multi-channel approach (social selling, strategic outreach, and networking) to build a high-value pipeline.
  • Solve problems: Collaborate with our expert technical pre-sales team to design bespoke IT and Cyber solutions that solve real-world client pain points.
  • Close the deal: Lead high-level presentations and demonstrations, navigating complex negotiations to onboard new clients.
  • Build a legacy: As a key member of our Glasgow office, your success will directly shape our reputation and growth in the region.

You will suit the role if you have

  • Relentlessly proactive: You don’t need a script; you have the intuition to find the right stakeholders and the tenacity to follow up on every opportunity.
  • A proven closer: You have a track record of exceeding KPIs in a New Business or BDM role (IT or Tech sector experience is a major plus).
  • Tech-curious: You have a genuine interest in Cybersecurity and how technology drives business efficiency.
  • An effective communicator: Whether it’s a LinkedIn message, a discovery call, or a boardroom pitch, you articulate value with clarity and confidence.

Salary

£35,000 – £45,000 basic (dependent on experience) with an OTE of £70,000 + car allowance.

Your OTE increases substantially with experience, with top performers earning a considerable premium.

Location and Working Arrangements

You will be based at Aspire’s Glasgow office on St Vincent Street with travel as required.

We work from the office five days a week to foster a high-energy, winning culture. This is not a typical ‘desk job’ — you’ll be out in the field, attending events and meeting clients face-to-face, supported by offices and locations purpose-built to deliver an outstanding customer sales experience.

Hours of Work

Full time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday
