About This Role

Are you a Territory Sales Executive, Business Development Executive, Sales Executive or commercial professional with sales experience looking for your next opportunity? As a Business Development Manager with Dawsongroup Temperature Control Solutions in Avonmouth, you will develop new customer relationships, grow your commercial expertise and build a long term career within our temperature controlled solutions business.

  • Develop new business opportunities across your allocated territory through customer visits, networking and proactive prospecting.
  • Build trusted relationships with customers, understand their operational needs and recommend appropriate temperature control solutions.
  • Prepare quotations and commercial proposals, working closely with our Service and Projects teams to deliver a strong customer experience.
  • Manage your sales pipeline using our CRM, keeping customer activity and opportunities accurate and up to date.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce customers to solutions available across other Dawsongroup Business Units.

About You

You enjoy opening doors, building relationships and turning conversations into commercial opportunities, and you already have previous sales experience to build from. We are interested in your potential as well as your background, so you do not need to have worked in temperature control or asset rental before.

  • Previous sales experience and the confidence to develop new business opportunities.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Confident communicating with customers face to face and over the phone.
  • Self motivated, organised and comfortable managing your own diary and priorities.
  • Curious about customers and motivated by finding solutions to their challenges.
