Role Description

This full-time Business Development Manager role is a hybrid position based in Milton Keynes, with flexibility to work from home for part of the week. The Business Development Manager will identify new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients, and develop proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.

  • Collaborating with internal teams to design service packages and pricing strategies
  • Managing a sales pipeline

  • Preparing regular reports and forecasts for senior leadership

Qualifications

  • Industry related experience is essential
  • Experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within services, facilities management, security, or parking-related industries.
  • Strong skills in relationship building, stakeholder management, and client communication, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • Proficiency in market research, opportunity analysis, and pipeline management, including use of CRM or sales tracking tools.
  • Ability to develop clear proposals, presentations, and commercial offers, demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort working in a hybrid environment, managing time between client sites, the Milton Keynes office, and home-based work.
  • Solid organizational and planning skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, collaborating with operations, finance, and customer service to deliver client solutions.
  • Working knowledge of basic financial concepts, such as pricing structures, margins, and forecasting.
  • Competence in standard office software (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation tools).
  • Prior experience in parking management, enforcement, or security services is beneficial but not essential.
  • Valid right to work in the United Kingdom and willingness to travel locally for client meetings and site visits.
  • Relevant qualification in business, management, or a related field is an advantage, or equivalent practical experience.
