Business Development Manager | Fully Remote | £40,000 DOE + Commission

Join a growing full-service marketing agency working with manufacturers, suppliers and industrial businesses across the UK. Partnering with businesses that are the backbone of British industry, the agency delivers strategic marketing solutions that help clients grow and compete in increasingly competitive markets.

With a strong reputation and continued growth, they're now looking to appoint their first dedicated Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition and play a pivotal role in the next stage of the agency's expansion.

As a growing business of around ~10 people, this is a fantastic opportunity to join early, work closely with the founders and establish yourself as a key part of the leadership journey as the commercial function continues to evolve.

The Role:

As Business Development Manager, you'll take ownership of the entire sales process, from identifying opportunities and generating new business through to pitching, negotiating and closing deals.

Working closely with the founders, you'll develop new business strategies, build relationships with prospective clients and become a trusted advisor throughout the sales journey. This is a genuine 360 sales role with plenty of autonomy and the opportunity to shape how business development is approached moving forward.

While the role is fully remote, you'll occasionally meet clients face-to-face, with many located across the North West.

What You'll Do:

  • Generate new business opportunities through outbound sales activity.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close.
  • Build relationships with business owners and senior decision-makers.
  • Deliver engaging sales presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate and close new client contracts.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Work closely with the founders on commercial strategy and growth.
  • Represent the business at client meetings and networking opportunities.
  • Identify new markets and opportunities for expansion.

About You:

  • Proven experience within a Business Development Manager or 360 sales role.
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
  • Strong track record of winning new business in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and comfortable working remotely.
  • Organised with strong pipeline and time management skills.
  • Experience selling marketing services would be advantageous.
  • Commercially minded with a genuine passion for business development.

The Package:

  • £40,000 depending on experience + Uncapped Commission.
  • Fully remote working.
  • Opportunity to work directly with the founders.
  • Genuine autonomy and ownership of the sales function.
