REGIONAL BUSINESS MANAGER / MEDICAL SALES – RESPIRATORY

£40,000–£50,000 BASIC + £11,000 UNCAPPED COMMISSION + COMPANY CAR + EXCELLENT BENEFITS

4-DAY WORKING WEEK – SALARY & COMMISSION PRO RATA

North of England & Scotland | Hybrid Field-Based Role

Looking for a medical sales role that offers excellent earning potential, a specialist product portfolio and a genuine 4-day working week? This could be an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected medical technology company with over 100 years of manufacturing excellence, an outstanding reputation for innovation and a specialist portfolio focused on respiratory disease and cystic fibrosis.

THE 4-DAY WORKING WEEK

This is a genuine 4-day-a-week role.

  • You will have the opportunity to build a successful career in specialist medical sales while enjoying an additional day away from work every week.
  • The £40,000–£50,000 basic salary and £11,000 uncapped commission are both pro rata to reflect the 4-day working week.

THE ROLE

As Regional Business Manager / Medical Territory Manager, you will manage a territory covering the North of England and Scotland, including:

  • Newcastle
  • Carlisle
  • Stockton
  • Darlington
  • Sunderland
  • Scotland

This is a hybrid field-based position, combining face-to-face customer visits and clinical support with virtual meetings and technology where appropriate.

You will sell a specialist portfolio of:

  • Nebulisers
  • Airway Management Solutions
  • Inhalation Therapy
  • Inhaled Antibiotics
  • Respiratory treatment solutions

You'll work with clinical and commercial stakeholders across the NHS, private hospitals and primary care, including:

  • Respiratory Leads
  • Physiotherapists
  • Consultants & Physicians
  • Specialist Respiratory Nurses
  • COPD Outreach Nurses
  • Procurement Teams
  • Integrated Care Boards (ICBs)

A significant part of the role will involve working alongside clinical teams, providing product demonstrations, training and ongoing clinical support, while developing strong long-term customer relationships.

You'll also be expected to challenge existing treatment pathways and competitor products, using clinical, commercial and health-economic arguments to demonstrate the value of your solutions.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We're looking for an ambitious and commercially driven medical sales professional who wants to build a long-term career within medical devices and respiratory care.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • At least 12 months' experience selling pharmaceuticals, medical devices or medical consumables into the NHS, hospital or primary care environment
  • Experience building relationships with clinical and commercial decision-makers
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • A consultative and solution-focused approach to sales
  • The confidence to discuss clinical outcomes and health-economic value
  • A dynamic, driven and motivated attitude
  • The ambition to develop within the medical device sector
