About the Role

Are you capable of growing revenue from a trusted key customer base and turning successful placements into long-term, multi-service partnerships? Are you looking for more autonomy in your career?

CSG Talent is hiring a commercially-focused, relationship-led Business Development Manager to convert inbound Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) into new engagements and expand existing accounts.

You'll work across the six core sectors we partner with (Natural Resources, Health Sciences, Technology, Building Infrastructure, Industrial & Engineering, and Food & Consumer) to deliver Executive Search, Contract & Interim, and Talent Strategy Services.

What You'll Do

  • Grow revenue across a portfolio of existing key customer accounts, building plans to increase share of wallet across Executive Search, Contract & Interim, and Talent Strategy.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities within existing accounts (new divisions, geographies, and hiring managers).
  • Own inbound SQLs: qualify, respond, and convert into new client relationships and live mandates.
  • Build and maintain senior relationships with HR, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders as a trusted commercial point of contact.
  • Brief Consultants on new wins and remain engaged as the relationship owner throughout delivery.
  • Track and report on pipeline, conversion rates, and account growth using CSG's CRM.
  • Work closely with Consultants, Marketing and key customer stakeholders to support lead conversion.

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for a driven, experienced consultant who's ready to push themselves further and become part of our top talent.

This role is open to candidates with previous experience in a consultant, headhunter, or recruiter role.

  • Experienced in a recruitment business, executive search, RPO, or another professional/talent services environment.
  • Industry experience is flexible - if you have Executive Search experience, even better!
  • Experience and confidence in growing revenue from an existing client base, not just winning net-new logos.
  • Comfortable managing and converting inbound leads (SQLs/MQLs) and proactively generating opportunities.
  • Confident engaging senior stakeholders in a consultative, relationship-led sales style.
  • Highly organised with strong pipeline management and CRM hygiene.
  • A relationship builder who is looking to grow and develop within their Recruitment.
