About Bobcat Digital

Bobcat Digital has been making large format printed graphics and digital print since 2013. We design, produce and install everything in-house from our Milton Keynes site - signage, vehicle branding, exhibition and events graphics - for clients across retail, hospitality, banking and education throughout the South East.

2027 is a big year for us and we're growing.

The Role

We need someone who can go out and win new business, not just manage what's already coming in. You'll be building your own pipeline from scratch across our target sectors, and working closely with our design and production team to turn conversations into projects and projects into repeat clients. You'll get a lot of autonomy here - we're not a big corporate sales floor, we're a small team who trust you to run your own diary and approach.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Finding and chasing new business across retail, hospitality, education and other sectors we work in
  • Generating your own leads - cold outreach, networking, referrals, industry events, whatever works
  • Getting in front of the right people: marketing teams, agencies, facilities managers, procurement
  • Running the whole sales process yourself, from first conversation through to quoting, negotiating and closing
  • Working with our design and production team to make sure what you're selling is realistic and gets delivered properly
  • Client meetings and site visits when needed
  • Keeping your pipeline up to date so we both know where things stand
  • Representing us at industry events and exhibitions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What We're Looking For

  • A track record of winning new business, ideally in print, signage, graphics, POS or something similar
  • Self-motivated - you won't be micromanaged, so you need to be comfortable driving your own week
  • Good on the phone and in person, whether that's cold calling, pitching or negotiating
  • Enough commercial and production knowledge to scope a project properly rather than over-promise
  • Full UK driving licence, since you'll be out visiting clients across the South East
  • Comfortable keeping a CRM up to date - nice to have, not a dealbreaker

What We're Offering

  • Base salary of £32,000-£38,000, depending on your experience
  • OTE of £42,000-£48,000+ on uncapped commission
  • Car allowance / Company car
  • Laptop and phone
  • A real say in how the sales function here gets built, rather than inheriting someone else's playbook
  • An experienced design and production team behind you, so you're never selling something we can't deliver

What We'd Expect in the First 6 Months

The first few months are about groundwork, not closed deals. We want you learning our capabilities and pricing properly, building a qualified pipeline, and starting to have real conversations with the right people.

By month 3 to 6, we'd expect to start seeing that pipeline convert into actual new accounts, and a clearer picture of what's coming over the following couple of quarters. Ideally some of those first clients are already turning into repeat work by then.

Sales cycles in this industry can run 6-12 weeks or longer, so we're realistic about this - early targets will be about activity and pipeline, and we'll shift toward revenue targets once things are moving.
