Overview
The Business Development Manager is responsible for creating, growing, and managing an account base. Accountable to directly identify and initiate development efforts. Develop and execute a field sales business plan that will achieve the corporate revenue goals. Accountable to directly identify and initiate business development opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Develops new business across all of our core competencies
- Identify, initiate, and engage with clients that provide sustained and profitable revenue streams multiple services
- Develop and execute a business plan that will achieve sales quota and budget as defined by the company
- Work closely with local, regional, and international operations staff to ensure customers’ needs and expectations are met
- Present an array of logistics solutions that enable numerous entry points into accounts
- All other business duties as deemed necessary
- Support and consulting of existing customers as well as further development of a professional cooperation
- Conducting sales and negotiation meetings
- Preparation of offers and calculations
- Processing of customer correspondence
- Preparation and assembly of accompanying documents (offers, concepts, presentations, etc.)
- Planning, organization, and execution of customer visits
- Recording and ensuring data maintenance in the CRM as well as for cross-departmental topics in the CRM
- Implementation of regular review meetings
- Ensuring communication between Sales/Customer Service, Operations, and to Management
- All other business duties as deemed necessary

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Completed further training as a forwarding specialist
- 3+ years of relevant business-to-business sales experience in the Supply Chain Industry preferred
