Are you a commercially driven relationship builder with a passion for identifying new opportunities and developing strategic customer partnerships?

Joining us as a Business Development Manager will see you taking SMI Interconnect’s specialist manufacturer expertise to a broad range of industries seeking high-quality, cost-effective interconnect solutions. SMI Interconnect is a UK-based manufacturer of high-quality wiring looms, cable harnesses and electrical assemblies. We deliver reliable interconnect solutions across a range of industries, from industrial systems to higher-reliability environments.

What You'll Be Doing

  • You will develop and grow relationships with customers, demonstrating our ability to adapt to different technical requirements.
  • You’ll be alert to the development of new markets and customer opportunities.
  • You will participate in the development and determination of strategy for each market sector.

What We're Looking For

  • You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in seeking opportunities and delivering client-focused solutions.
  • You thrive in an environment where you can use your superb interpersonal skills to proactively seek opportunities to deliver client-focused solutions.
  • Ideally you will be experienced working in sectors that utilise cable wiring solutions, but if you have the ability to generate sales within a technical and engineering environment, and are able to build trusted partnerships with our clients - we would love to hear from you.
