Business Development Manager
Manchester - Hybrid
£35,000 base + £55,000 OTE + car allowance
Are you an ambitious B2B salesperson who enjoys outbound sales, closing new business and wants to join a fast-growing international business with plenty of room to progress?
Maxwell Bond are partnered with a fast-growing international business helping organisations across a range of sectors identify opportunities that can reduce costs and improve their financial position. Due to continued growth, they're looking to add a Business Development Manager to their Manchester sales team.
Around 80% of meetings are self-generated, making this a genuine hunter role for someone who enjoys creating their own opportunities. The typical sales cycle is 30–60 days, with an average deal value of around £11k and an annual target of approximately £280k.

What you'll do as a Business Development Manager:
- Generate new business through targeted outbound activity and cold calling
- Build and manage your own pipeline
- Book and run meetings with business owners and senior decision-makers
- Manage the full sales process from prospecting through to close
What we're looking for:
- 12–18+ months' B2B closing experience
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Strong outbound and cold-calling experience
- Experience generating your own pipeline
- Driven, resilient and commercially ambitious
