Company Description

Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid Business Development Manager role based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with flexibility for some work from home. The Business Development Manager will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and manage a growing pipeline, and lead end-to-end sales cycles with decision-makers across target industries. The role involves conducting market research, understanding customer needs, and positioning 51Folds.AI’s prediction and decision-support products to address complex strategic challenges.

  • Collaborating with product and marketing teams to refine offerings and go-to-market strategies

The Business Development Manager will also track performance metrics, provide feedback on market trends, and contribute to the overall growth strategy of the company.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in business development, consultative sales, or account management in B2B technology or SaaS environments.
  • Strong skills in prospecting, pipeline management, and deal execution, including qualification, proposal development, and negotiation.
  • Ability to understand complex technical products, translate them into clear business value, and tailor solutions to diverse stakeholder needs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging senior leaders and guiding strategic conversations.
  • Comfort with data-driven decision-making and interest in AI, analytics, forecasting, or decision-support technologies.
  • Collaborative mindset, able to work closely with product, marketing, and leadership teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Self-directed and organized, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities in a hybrid work setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, STEM, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; previous experience in startup or innovation-focused organizations is a plus.
