Business Development Manager

A leading tax consultancy is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their growing GTM function. This is a new business-focused role, responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new opportunities across a range of sectors, including Financial Services, Manufacturing, Aerospace and Defence, Legal, Software, and Life Sciences.

The role operates on a hybrid basis, with three days per week working from the Bristol office and two days remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting through to deal closure
  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities, engaging with senior financial and business leaders
  • Generate new opportunities through a variety of outbound channels, including cold calling, email, and LinkedIn
  • Build and develop relationships with prospective clients and key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal technical and operations teams to develop and progress opportunities
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and manage pipeline activity
  • Travel to meet clients face-to-face where required

The Successful Candidate

  • 3+ years' B2B sales experience, selling a complex product or solution
  • Proven new business sales closing experience is essential
  • Experience selling SaaS OR professional services is highly desirable
  • Commutable to the Bristol office three days per week
