Role Overview

Business Development Manager | Liverpool, UK | Field-based / Remote | Competitive Salary + Commission

As a Business Development Manager in our UK Field Sales Team, you’ll play a key role in driving Fresha’s expansion across the Liverpool region. Reporting directly to the Business Development Team Lead, you will be 100% focused on identifying, prospecting, and bringing on new business partners to accelerate our commercial growth.

From cold outreach and product demos to negotiating and closing deals, you’ll serve as the face of Fresha to potential partners, helping local salon owners and wellness professionals transform their operations with our all-in-one platform.

What You'll Do

  • Sales Targets & KPIs: Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets by driving new merchant acquisition across Liverpool and surrounding areas.
  • Direct Outreach: Conduct targeted multi-touch outreach via phone, email, social media, and in-person visits to connect with key decision-makers.
  • Full-Cycle Selling: Manage the complete sales process from initial lead generation and prospecting to product demos, negotiation, and closing.
  • Product Demos: Present, promote, and demonstrate Fresha’s software and fintech solutions tailored to prospective partners' unique business needs.
  • Value & Needs Analysis: Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis with potential partners to align our software capabilities with their commercial goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with onboardings, product, and account management teams to ensure a seamless transition and partner experience.
  • Market Insights: Act as the eyes and ears on the ground, gathering feedback on industry trends, local competitors, and partner needs to inform strategy.
  • Commercial Partnering: Serve as the primary commercial point of contact for new partners as they join the Fresha ecosystem.

What We're Looking For

  • Sales Experience: Minimum 1+ years of solid B2B sales experience with a proven track record of consistently hitting or exceeding targets.
  • Industry Exposure: Background selling SaaS, online marketplaces, payment platforms, or fintech solutions is highly desirable.
  • Hunter Mindset: A true hunter and relationship builder who enjoys prospecting, cold outreach, and closing new business.
  • Organisation & Autonomy: Highly organised with strong time management skills; able to multitask, prioritise, and work independently in the field.
  • Curiosity & Passion: Naturally curious, eager to learn continuously, and passionate about tech and partner success.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English; additional language skills are a strong plus.
  • Beauty & Wellness Interest: Prior experience in or a strong passion for the beauty, wellness, and self-care industry.
