Business Development Manager
Territory Area
North East London, including Enfield, North London, East London Areas. Our successful candidate will ideally live within the N, NW, E or surrounding postcode areas.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for professional commercial business partnering, sales development and training of specific high value, high opportunity Kitchen Studios and Electrical Retail Partners.
- Build and implement collaborative business plans that ensure Miele delivers a best in class partnership that achieve set sales growth targets and objectives.
- Partner closely with our Miele Experience Centres providing consumers expert advice and hands on demonstrations truly bringing our products to life.

Requirements
- A good level of commercial experience and emotional intelligence.
- Clear history of delivering great results within a challenging sales environment.
- Passionate about exceeding targets and building great business relationships.
- Experience of driving businesses through clearly identified development planning.
- Ability to showcase evidence of utilising analytics to support decision making.
- Experience of implementing a multi-faceted promotional calendar ensuring maximum exposure at all levels within the account and territory.
- Ability to create insight from financial data that clearly identifies territory shape, challenges and opportunities.
- Natural relationship builder, putting the customer at the heart of everything you do and exemplifying ‘Immer Besser’ in the way you work.
- Think creatively, be willing to challenge the status quo and overcome objections to drive the territory forwards.
Collaboration
This is a critical role within the Miele business and you will work closely with the Head of Sales, Domestic Support Teams, Category Managers, Logistics, Service and Finance.
Desired Skills
- Experience from working with commercial sales, ideally showing how you have developed partnerships and managed customers within a territory.
- Experience of working within sales and customer facing roles.
- Great listening and communication skills, with the ability to persuade and influence stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to design and discuss trade terms and compliance with partners.
- An understanding of how to flex to balance the demands of the business and the customer.
- A positive and solution focused mindset for problem solving and dispute resolution.
