Role Description
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building relationships with dealerships, lenders, and other partners, and increasing referral and direct customer channels. This full-time hybrid role is based in Waltham Abbey, with flexibility for some work from home. Day-to-day tasks include:

The Business Development Manager will also collaborate with internal teams to improve processes, refine sales messaging, and ensure a high-quality customer experience across all touchpoints.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within automotive, finance, or related sectors.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to maintain long-term partnerships with dealerships and lenders.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, both in-person and via phone and digital channels.
- Solid commercial acumen, including ability to understand finance products, assess opportunities, and work toward revenue and growth targets.
- Comfort with CRM tools, lead management systems, and basic data analysis for tracking pipeline, conversion, and performance metrics.
- Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to work independently, manage a varied workload, and thrive in a hybrid environment.
- Understanding of regulated financial services or FCA-regulated environments is highly beneficial.
- Relevant education or training in business, sales, finance, or a related field is advantageous, though equivalent experience is also valued.
